First Baptist Church is a church where Jesus Christ is magnified through dynamic worship, intentional evangelism, personal discipleship, caring ministry, and loving fellowship.
The Recreation Ministry seeks to compliment the overall church strategy by:

Reaching others for Christ by assisting them to develop a personal relationship with our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Discipling all participants to carry out the Great Commission given to us by Jesus.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."
Matthew 28: 19-20.

Ministering to people by making and strengthening personal relationships based on Christian love, mutual trust and fellowship.

Fellowshiping by providing an environment and activiites that are fun and relaxing, giving church members and our guests an opportunity to meet one another and experience life together.
Recreation programs are open to everyone who desires to participate in leisure activities and sports within the guidelines of Christian fellowship. Church members are encouraged to invite others to participate in our programs.

Impact Cheerleading Registration dates
Impact cheerleading registration for the 2012-2013 season will begin for returning FBC Douglasville Spirit squad members on Monday, May 7th. Registration will open to the public on Monday, May 14th. A registration form is now available to download in the Competition teams page under Impact Cheerleading or come by the church to fill one out. $160 is due at the time of registration. FALL UPWARD SOCCER REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
Registration for Fall Upward Soccer is now open. Open for boys and girls age 4 through the 8th grade. Fees are $80 until June 4th and $95 thereafter.Fees include uniform, program itmes and post game snacks for players.
